FOR PLAYERS

FarmFi Wiki

FarmFi is a farm that stays alive even when you close the game. You plant, raise animals, chop, mine and earn $FARMFI, the game token.

Play a little, often: log in for a bit, harvest, plant again and come back in a few hours.

Full map of the valley: house, field, barnyard, town, forest, quarry and lake
GETTING STARTED

First steps

You start with 0 $FARMFI, a house, a field with one row of 7 plots, a barnyard with 4 spots and 100 energy.

  1. Go to the forest (east) and the quarry (west): pick apples, chop trees and mine rocks. It is free, it only costs energy.
  2. Sell at the Market or fill orders at the Order board (they pay more).
  3. Buy wheat seeds (25 $FARMFI), plant them and water them so they grow.
  4. Harvest, sell and buy your first chicken (200 $FARMFI) and some feed.
  5. In the Workshop, turn wood into planks and stone into stone bricks. Upgrades need them.
  6. Expand your field and barnyard, hire helpers and buy more land.
  7. Upgrade your house to level 2 to start withdrawing what you earn.
The game has a 12-step guide with an arrow. Follow it and you won't get lost.

Moving and controls

  • Walk: WASD, arrow keys or click the ground. The camera follows your farmer.
  • Use something: click it (your farmer walks there alone) or get close and press E or space.
  • Hotbar: 5 slots at the bottom, keys 1 to 5. Put your tools and seeds there from the Bag (I): drag them down.
  • Menus: I inventory, T shop, C workshop, P orders, M market, N map, G guide, O more. Esc closes.
  • Zoom: mouse wheel or + and −.
  • Hover over anything to see what it is and how long it needs.
WHERE IS EVERYTHING

The valley map

Your farm is all together on the left. Open the Map (N) and click any place to walk there.

  • Your house: top left, above your field.
  • Town: top, next to your barnyard: Shop, Workshop, Market and Order board.
  • Field and Barnyard: your first lands, under your house.
  • Field 2 and Coop, then Field 3 and Pasture: extra lands, going down. The gates line up so you can walk straight from the top to the bottom.
  • Quarry: west, next to Field 2 and Field 3. Rita's camp is above it.
  • Forest: east, on the darker grass. Bruno's camp is at its entrance.
  • Lake: bottom middle. Fill your watering can there.
The thick rows of trees around the valley mark its edge.

Energy

Energy is your daily limit. Almost everything costs energy, and it refills slowly, so plan what you do each visit.

How to get it back

  • By itself: your whole bar refills in 5 hours, even with the game closed (100 max = 20 an hour, 200 max = 40 an hour), up to 2.5× your max energy a day (250 a day with a 100 bar, 500 with 200). Playing all day gives no more than visiting a few times. It stops when your bar is full.
  • Rest at home: +30, every 6 hours.
  • Energy packs (Shop → Food): 25 for 200, 50 for 375 or 100 for 700 $FARMFI at level 1, +60% of that per player level up to level 15 (100 energy: 700 at level 1, 4,480 at level 10, 6,580 from level 15). You can buy up to 100 energy a day. It goes to a reserve that never expires and is used when your bar runs out.
  • Level up: your max goes up 10 per level, from 100 to 200.
A full field of 35 plots costs 105 energy to plant, water and harvest. Food gives no energy: bigger farms need sprinklers, helpers or energy packs.

Crops

  1. Plant: hold a seed in your hotbar and click an empty plot.
  2. Water: no water, no growth. The timer starts when you water.
  3. Extra water: from 40% growth you can water again and get +1.
  4. Weeds: if they show up (red marker), pull them or you lose 1.
  5. Harvest at the yellow marker.

Helpers

They work even when you are away and store what they gather. When their storage is full, they stop. Drop by to collect: it costs no energy. Hire them at their camp or at Shop → Upgrades.

TOP OF THE MAP

The town

  • Shop: seeds, animals, feed (50 $FARMFI), energy packs and upgrades.
  • Workshop: turns goods into others you need or that are worth more.
  • Market: sell anything. Prices change every day (up to 15% up or down) and it keeps 5%. Today's featured item pays +30%. "Sell all" keeps the feed your animals need and what your orders ask for.
  • Order board: neighbors ask for goods and pay more than the Market, plus lots of XP.

THE TOKEN

FARMFI and investments

The game token is Play FarmFi, ticker $FARMFI. It is the only currency in the game.

You earn it

By selling at the Market, with orders, the guide, dailies and achievements.

You spend it

On seeds, animals, feed, food, energy and upgrades.

Investments

Field rows, new lands, barnyard spots and helpers make you earn more every day. Each one pays back in about a week if you log in about 4 times a day (faster while staking). Invest more, earn more.

Each upgrade card tells you how much you will earn per day and how many days it takes to pay back, based on your pace.

There is no daily limit on what you earn. Your real limits are your energy and, for withdrawals, your house.

YOUR HOUSE

House, withdrawals and staking

Click your house to withdraw, upgrade it, stake or rest.

  • Withdrawals open at house level 2 and have two parts. Earnings: up to your house's daily limit (table below) plus what a staking plan adds. Your deposit: what you deposited and have not taken out comes back whole, with no fee, whenever it is not locked in staking. Limits reset at midnight UTC.
  • Daily fee: at the end of each day (00:00 UTC), a fee on that day's profit is burned: everything you earned (sales, orders, bonuses and rewards) minus the seeds you bought. 10% up to 50,000, 20% up to 150,000, 30% of the rest. It never takes your deposit. Days without profit, you pay nothing.
  • A withdrawal fee of 5% (3% while staking) on the earnings part goes back to the reward pool. Your deposit comes back without it.
  • To upgrade your house you pay $FARMFI and materials. What you pay is burned.

Staking

Only $FARMFI you deposited can be staked (what you earn in the game cannot). Lock a fixed amount for 5, 7 or 10 days and get it all back at the end, ready to withdraw at once with no fee: your deposit is back in 5 to 10 days. While it runs you get a bonus on what you sell at the Market and with orders (+50% to +100%), paid up to a fixed amount a day; the same amount is added to your daily withdrawal (1% to 2% of what you lock a day, longer plans more), more max energy and a 3% withdrawal fee. Everything grows with what you lock, so locking more always gives more.

The game shows each plan in $FARMFI. You can run one plan at a time. Lock 1,000,000 for 10 days and you can earn and withdraw up to 20,000 more each day; at the end the 1,000,000 come back. If you take your whole deposit out you can no longer stake: keep it in the game to keep the perks. You can unlock early, but it costs 5% of what you locked, which goes back to the reward pool.

Questions

Do I need to be online all day?

No. Crops, animals, the workshop, helpers and energy keep going with the game closed.

What happens if I don't water?

The crop doesn't grow. The timer only runs after you water (or your sprinklers do).

Why can't I withdraw?

Withdrawals open at house level 2. After that, your house level and staking set how much of your earnings you can withdraw a day; your deposit comes back whole whenever it is not locked in staking.

I ran out of energy. What now?

Wait (your bar refills in 5 hours, up to 2.5× your max a day), rest at home every 6 hours or buy an energy pack.

Why is my helper not gathering?

Their storage is full. Collect and they get back to work.

Where do I earn the most $FARMFI?

With orders (rare and epic ones pay most), pricey crops and Workshop goods. Staking deposited $FARMFI adds +50% to +100% on sales, up to a fixed amount a day.

Can I trade with other players?

Not yet. Trading will come later, at the Market.
